About Từ Từ
Từ Từ means slowly in Vietnamese.
Growing up, it was the phrase I most needed to hear
and a reminder to trust my own pace and let life
unfold in its own time.
Before I knew what Từ Từ was, it had already been
shaping the way I moved through life.
Tea became one of the ways I learned this more deeply.
What began as a personal tea practice gradually
evolved into a space for connection, creativity, and
shared experience. Through tea, I discovered
stillness, community, and a deeper relationship
with myself, others, and the natural world.
Today, Từ Từ is a Los Angeles–based pop up studio
centered around tea experiences, sensory gatherings,
and creative practice.
Trang Tran (she/they) creates intimate experiences
that explore the relationship between tea, space,
and connection. From pop-up tea tastings and
facilitating experiences at Tea at Shiloh to
collaborations with artists across disciplines, her
work brings together tea, aesthetics, and gathering
as pathways for curiosity and belonging.
More than a brand, Tu Tu is an invitation to pause,
engage the senses, and move through life with greater
attention and care.
At its heart, Tu Tu is an exploration of what becomes possible when we give ourselves time.
